About Eleanor

Eleanor Farnsworth started in real estate in 1980, a single mother of three who needed the work. Forty-five years later she is among the most decorated agents in Louisiana. Gambit readers voted her the city's number one Realtor in 2009 and again in 2010, and CityBusiness named her one of the 50 most influential people in New Orleans in 2025.

My career in real estate has been about the people, meeting new and exciting people and helping them to achieve their goals. Eleanor Farnsworth

She is a native New Orleanian and a specialist in the city's historic housing stock, holding the Historic Residential Specialist designation alongside CRS, GRI and BRC. She serves on the Tulane Emeritus Board and belongs to the Junior League of New Orleans, the Orleans Club, the Preservation Resource Center and the Louisiana Museum Foundation, and is a Fellow of the New Orleans Museum of Art.

She keeps in close touch with her clients, in her words, through the lost art of the telephone call.
