Eleanor Farnsworth has represented buyers and sellers in the Garden District, Uptown and the French Quarter since 1980.
Eleanor sold the former St. Charles Avenue mansion of Anne Rice and the former Prytania Street residence of Ella Brennan. She represented the buyer of the $3.3 million St. Charles Avenue home of James Carville and Mary Matalin, and represented both sides in the sale of a landmark Romanesque mansion on the Avenue.
In 2017 she represented the sale of 620 Ursulines Avenue in the French Quarter. At the time it was the highest-priced single-family residential sale ever recorded in the New Orleans area MLS.

Eleanor Farnsworth started in real estate in 1980, a single mother of three who needed the work. Forty-five years later she is among the most decorated agents in Louisiana. My career in real estate has been about the people, meeting new and exciting people and helping them to achieve their goals. Eleanor Farnsworth
